We built Katapult Pro to elevate regional, market-specific expertise—because you know more about reliable utilities in your backyard than we do.
To do this, we learn from our own engineering staff and leverage what we learn by serving you and your teams across the country. But that's still not enough to maximize your expertise or the positive impact you can have in the industry. If that's all we do to help you win, we're not doing enough.
Your team is uniquely positioned as subject matter experts on the most pressing needs of the industry and your region. Your perspective and pulse on the industry is invaluable.
We don't have your experience protecting the grid from tornadoes in Kentucky, and we haven't battled against winter storms in Maine, but you have. You should get to use that knowledge to inform the development of the tools you use.
Join our list of Product Advisors to help us continue to build tools, features, and workflows that help you do good in the world and in your region.
There are four main categories that could use your expertise:
1. Providing definition to the Katapult Pro Roadmap
While we have a vision of where Katapult Pro is going, that direction needs to be grounded in the wisdom and experience of serving other markets and workflows across North America. We want to define and prioritize what matters most based on the people who will use the platform. Use your knowledge to provide crucial insight into how we do this.
As we build Storm Response, Pole Inspections, Metering, Re-Conductoring, and other Distribution Design functionality into Katapult Pro, your input, definition, and feedback on new workflows and tools create an edge for your team and the software to meet the challenges within the industry.
2. Beta testing new features and providing feedback
If you're a current customer, we'd love for you to test your established workflows and processes against our release candidate. In beta.katapultpro.com, you can test the latest features before they're fully released.
With potential bugs and kinks still being worked out, there is a cost to working in beta code. A lot of users shy away from new functionality until it's pushed to all users, but power users can put new tools through their paces to create better releases every month.
3. Prioritizing platform extensibility initiatives
As we build out our API functionality, we need developers and other technical experts to weigh in on which priorities give them the most power to level up their teams. What will help you improve the quality of life for your team? What extensibility gives your team an edge in your market?
Whether this is integrating with different data collection methods or creating web automation to speed up manual data entry into legacy systems, we commit to creating a platform that you can extend to provide your team with its own competitive advantage.
4. Critiquing new or existing functionality
If you're a current customer or considering using Katapult Pro for an upcoming project, we'd love to present our new releases or the features/packages we're building to your team. Let us know what's missing, or how can build something more valuable to your project and regional needs.
