Katapult Pro Foundational Features

No matter how long your team has been a part of the Katapult Pro platform, it's likely you've missed one or two features that could help your team take your engineering services to the next level.

Last week, we published September release notes with details around specific platform upgrades and a few new features. These monthly releases are minor, but they build upon the existing features and capabilities of the software. 

Below, we break down Katapult Pro and its foundational components that help you bring reliable utilities to people.

Maps:

Katapult Pro Maps allow you to create job files and build designs for data collection and engineering design. 

Utilize mapping tools, custom styles, map layers, node/connection, attributes, and QA/QC to build out your projects.

The Download Manager allows you to share your work in endless Photo, Map, PLA, and other Data formats.

Mobile:

Access Katapult Pro Maps on your mobile device. Collect photo data or utilize our Mobile Assessments to capture critical data from the field.

User and Attribute Tracking provides defensible data and allows photos to automatically associate to the right locations back in the office. 

Cache job data to allow data collection while Offline or in areas with spotty cellular connection.

Uploads:

After fielding, photos get uploaded by selecting the number of cameras used, entering the data from the sync shots and associating and classifying photos.

Photo data can be processed in bulk by field technicians, clerical staff, or by your OSP designers.

Photos:

Once photos have been uploaded and calibrated, Katapult Pro allows users to annotate and connect pole attachments and equipment as they exist in the real world. 

Proper tracing improves the Make Ready clearance flagging process and creates proper 3D modeling for pole loading analysis.

Make Ready:

Katapult Pro automatically flags any make ready violations in your job. 

Utilize Make Ready View to identify and remedy clearance issues using tools and keyboard shortcuts.

Save alternate designs, call for pole replacements, and visualize proposed conditions in 3D View.

Integrated Pole Loading:

Integrated Pole Loading is a real-time pole loading analysis engine built into the Katapult Pro interface. It gives real-time, accurate results for existing and proposed conditions without having to leave the platform or own a seat of a third-party software.

Model Editor

In the background, the Model Editor provides all the tools you need to configure Katapult Pro for your team to succeed in every market.

Create new mapping tools and toolsets, update attributes and picklists, update map styles , create custom PDF exports, and much more. You can even share your models with subcontractors or other partners for seamless collaboration.
